Study hard, play hard!

The safety of our students is our top priority, and we are proud to say that Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the safest provinces to live in all of Canada.

St. John’s, our province’s capital, is a vibrant, historic and contemporary city that has plenty to offer when you are taking a break from your studies. From sightseeing and shopping, to dining and nightlife, you will create life-long memories.

Make new friends while exploring the city

Our city is over 500 years old! We have many shops, boutiques and unique art galleries. Stop for refreshments at one of our lively pubs and cafés, or a meal in one of our culinary hot spots. In the evening, enjoy live music or local theatre, or head to a local pub for traditional tunes and maybe even a scuff (dance). Every night, George Street is the place to be with lots of energy, especially during the annual George Street Festival – five days and nights of dynamic musical entertainment.
